Grammy's Granola Recipe
Ingredients

- 2 ½ cups old-fashioned oats
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup sesame seed
- ½ cup coconut
- ½ cup wheat germ

- ½ cup almonds, walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1/3 cup water
- ½ cup honey
- 1/3 cup canola oil

Directions

Mix all of the above ingredients together. Spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 225 degrees for 2 hours.
Store in jars or plastic bags.

This is my favorite granola recipe. Granola is so versatile--
- It can be eaten as a cereal by just adding milk for a delicious breakfast.
- For lunch, layer it in a parfait glass with yogurt and fruit.
- Eat it dry as a snack.
- Use it in recipes like Granola Cereal Cookies.
- I like to take it on trips in a plastic bag.
- Make a big batch of Grammy’s granola and put it in a glass jar. Dress us the glass jar with a Christmas sqare of cloth on the lid, then tie a ribbon around the mouth and give as a Christmas gift.
Who doesn’t like granola??
