My daughter Jamie brought this variation of No-Bakes home from church camp one summer, and it quickly took over as the new “favorite” No-Bake recipe. One of the differences in this recipe is the peanut butter(which has always been Jamie’s #1 favorite food since birth)! And I do have to admit, the chocolate/peanut butter/oatmeal combo is heavenly.
This recipe seems to be consistently successful, whereas Basinger No-Bakes #1 seem to rely heavily on the timing of the boiling…if it’s too little, they tend to be runny and won’t harden up. If you over boil them they get too dry.
